Age Calculator

Your exact age in years, months, and days — plus total days lived and your next birthday.

How your age is worked out

The calculator counts the years, months, and days between your date of birth and the target date separately. If the day-of-month difference is negative, it borrows the number of days in the previous month; if the month difference then goes negative, it borrows twelve months from the year. That's exactly how we say ages out loud — "36 years, 1 month, 22 days" — and it respects the real length of each calendar month.

The totals (months, weeks, days) come straight from the number of days between the two dates.

FAQ

How is exact age calculated?

Years, months, and days are counted separately, borrowing days from the previous month and months from the year whenever a difference is negative — so it matches the real calendar.

Does it handle leap years?

Yes. Because it works with actual calendar dates, February 29 and varying month lengths are all accounted for automatically.

Can I find my age on a past or future date?

Yes — change the second date. Leave it as today for your current age, or set any date to see your age then.
