What the planner does

Most calculators price one craft at a time. This one plans a whole session: stack as many recipes as you like across gear, food, potions and refining, fetch live market prices once, and read the combined result as a dashboard — total cost, total profit, margin, focus used, station nutrition and transport weight, with every item ranked by silver profit.

Where the numbers come from

Prices are pulled live from the Albion Online Data Project, the community price feed behind most Albion economy tools. Each material and finished item is priced in your chosen buy/sell cities (or the cheapest city per material), then run through the real crafting math: material cost reduced by your return rate (city bonus + focus), the station usage fee, and the marketplace's 2.5% setup fee plus 4%/8% sales tax. Optional journal income is added on top.

Return rate, focus and SPF

Return rate refunds part of your materials each craft — roughly 15% at city base, 37% in the bonus city, and up to 54% with focus. Because focus is capped at 10,000 points a day, the planner reports silver per focus (SPF) so you can spend focus where it earns the most, not just where total profit looks big.

Journals, fame and weight

Crafting fills journals you can sell for extra silver, so the planner estimates journal income when enabled. It also tracks total crafting fame for the session and the combined transport weight, so you know whether a run fits in a mount before you haul it. Food and potion recipes are the verified in‑game ingredient lists; gear is generated from Albion's standard per‑slot material formula.

Reading a loss

A red profit means the craft loses silver at current prices — usually because materials are overpriced, the sell price is depressed, or the price data is stale. Switch to the cheapest‑city sourcing, flip on the bonus city and focus, or wait for prices to move. Always confirm in‑game before committing a large batch.

Frequently asked questions

Can I plan gear, food and potions together?

Yes. Add any mix of gear, food, potions and refined resources to one session; the dashboard combines cost, profit, focus, fame and weight across all of them and ranks each by silver profit.

Where do the prices come from?

The Albion Online Data Project — a free community feed updated by players who run its client while browsing the in‑game market. It's the standard source for Albion economy tools.

Does it handle .4 enchantment?

Yes. .4 gear is crafted from .4 refined materials (it can't be upgraded from lower with runes/souls/relics), and the planner prices it with .4 mats automatically.

How accurate are journal and fame numbers?

They're solid estimates. Crafting fame follows Albion's per‑slot multipliers and journal income is approximated from that fame; exact laborer returns depend on happiness and yield, so treat journals as a bonus figure rather than a guarantee.
