Your privacy, in plain English
We built TryCalculatorz to need as little of your information as possible. The calculators run entirely in your browser, so the numbers you type are yours alone. This policy explains what little we do handle, and the rights you have over it.
1The short version
- The numbers you type stay in your browser. Calculations run on your device and are never sent to or stored by us.
- No account, no sign-up. You can use every tool without giving us any personal details.
- We do not sell your data. Ever. There is no market in your information here.
- We use limited, privacy-respecting analytics to understand which tools are useful, and only email us if you choose to.

2Who we are
"TryCalculatorz", "we", "us" and "our" refer to the small independent team that operates the website at trycalculatorz.com. We are the data controller for the limited information described in this policy. If you have any question about privacy or wish to exercise a right below, contact us at support@trycalculatorz.com.
3What we collect
We deliberately collect as little as possible. In practice, this falls into three narrow categories:

We do not ask for your name, address, phone number, date of birth or any similar identifier to use the calculators. We do not build advertising profiles about you.
4Your calculator inputs stay with you
This is the heart of our approach. Every calculator on the site performs its maths locally, inside your web browser, using code that runs on your own device. The heights, weights, amounts, dimensions and other figures you enter are used to compute your result on the spot and are not transmitted to our servers, logged, or retained.
When you close or refresh the page, those inputs are gone. Because the calculation never leaves your device, even we cannot see the specific values you worked with.
5Cookies and local storage
A cookie is a small file a website can store in your browser. We keep our use of cookies and similar storage to a minimum:
- Essential storage may be used so the site functions correctly and remembers basic preferences during your visit.
- Analytics storage may be used to gather the aggregate, non-identifying usage statistics described below.
- Third-party storage may be set by any external services or embeds present on a page (see the third-party section).
You can control or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings, and you can browse with cookies disabled — the calculators will still work, since they do not depend on cookies to run.
6Analytics
To keep improving the site, we look at aggregate, anonymised usage information — for example, which calculators are used most, roughly where visitors come from at a country level, and whether pages load and work correctly. This helps us decide what to build and fix next.
This information is statistical and is not used to identify you personally. We do not attempt to link it back to an individual, and we do not use it to target advertising to you.
7Third-party services
Some parts of the site may rely on reputable third-party providers — for example, hosting infrastructure, an analytics provider, or, where present, advertising or embedded content. These providers process data on our behalf or under their own policies to deliver their service.
Where a third party is present on a page, it may set its own cookies or receive basic technical data such as your IP address and browser type as part of delivering its service. We choose providers carefully and encourage you to review the privacy policies of any external service you interact with. We do not sell your personal information to any third party.
If and when advertising is shown on the site, ads are served by third-party networks that may use cookies to measure performance; we do not share the figures you enter into calculators with advertisers, because those figures never leave your browser in the first place.
8Your rights
Depending on where you live — for example under the EU/UK GDPR or the California Consumer Privacy Act — you may have some or all of the following rights over any personal data we hold about you (in practice, this is essentially limited to correspondence you have sent us):
- Access — ask what personal data we hold about you.
- Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate data.
- Deletion — ask us to delete your data.
- Objection and restriction — object to, or ask us to limit, certain processing.
- Portability — request a copy of data you provided in a portable form.
- No sale — we do not sell personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of, but you may confirm this with us.
To exercise any of these, email support@trycalculatorz.com. We will respond within the time required by applicable law. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
9Children's privacy
The site is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the calculators do not require any personal information to use, a child can use a tool without providing data to us. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
10Changes to this policy & contact
We may update this policy from time to time as the site evolves or as the law changes. When we do, we will revise the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be made clear. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
