The rules of the road

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the TryCalculatorz website and its calculators (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy and Disclaimer, which are incorporated by reference.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to access and use the Service for your own lawful, personal or internal business purposes, in line with these Terms.

When using the Service, you agree that you will not:

• introduce malware or any harmful code, or place an unreasonable load on the infrastructure;

• misrepresent a Result as professional advice, or use the Service in a way that could mislead or harm others.

We may suspend or withdraw access to the Service, in whole or in part, if you breach these Terms or where we reasonably need to.

Our calculators are provided as educational and informational tools. Every Result is an estimate generated from the inputs you provide and the published method the tool implements. Results depend entirely on the accuracy of your inputs and on assumptions described on each page.

A Result does not constitute professional advice of any kind — medical, health, financial, investment, legal, tax, structural, engineering or otherwise — and must not be relied upon as a substitute for it. For decisions that carry real consequences, you should obtain advice from a suitably qualified professional who can consider your specific circumstances.

The Service and its Content are owned by TryCalculatorz or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. The TryCalculatorz name and branding are ours.

You are welcome to use the calculators and to reference our tools. You may not, without our prior written permission, copy, reproduce, republish, sell, or systematically extract the Content, the calculator code or the site design to create a competing or substantially similar service. Short quotations with a clear link back to the relevant page are fine.

The results you generate from your own inputs are yours to use for your own purposes.

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or resources, and may display third-party content or advertising. We provide these for convenience and do not control, endorse or accept responsibility for third-party sites or their content, policies or practices. Visiting a third-party site is at your own risk and subject to that site's own terms and privacy policy.

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement.

While we work hard to keep our formulas correct and our tools reliable, we do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any Result will be accurate, complete or suitable for your particular purpose. Your use of the Service and any reliance on a Result is at your own risk.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TryCalculatorz and the people behind it will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill or other intangible losses, arising out of or relating to your use of — or inability to use — the Service or any Result, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Where our liability cannot be excluded but can be limited, it is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law. You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the Service or breach of these Terms.

We may modify the Service or these Terms at any time. When we change these Terms, we will update the "last updated" date above; material changes will be made clear. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction in which the Service is operated, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, and you agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts, to the extent permitted by your local mandatory consumer protections.
